The Ukrainian veterans will next month represent their country at the Warrior Games – a competition for wounded, injured or ill service personnel – in the USA next month. Between now and then they will spend a month training in the UK, before flying to Orlando, Florida via a scheduled flight with the Royal Air Force. The Ukrainian team’s undertaking is being funded by PR agency Team Lewis, Blind Veterans UK and other agencies. The UK stands with the people of Ukraine and has been at the forefront of the international response to Russia’s invasion.
